Bachelor’s Degree Core Curriculum

Hesed University’s Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degree programs incorporate a comprehensive Core Curriculum designed to equip students with foundational knowledge in liberal arts, sciences, and biblical studies. This curriculum reflects the institution’s commitment to integrating academic excellence with spiritual formation.

The Bachelor’s Degree Core Curriculum includes the following components:

  1. General Education and Bible Studies: Courses in biblical, textual, and historical studies provide students with a strong foundation in understanding scriptural truths and their historical contexts.
  2. Theological Studies Core: A group of required theological and professional courses that deepen students’ understanding of their faith and its application to their personal and professional lives.
  3. Chapel and Christian Service Requirements: Participation in regular Chapel sessions and Christian Service activities to nurture spiritual growth and community engagement.

These requirements apply to all majors, with variations in the General Education section based on the prerequisites for specific programs, such as Architecture or Graphic Design.

Students may declare a major upon enrollment and make changes up until the end of the sophomore year. However, changes beyond this point may result in delays in graduation. Those wishing to pursue a double major must seek academic advising to ensure all requirements are met.
