Purpose & Vision

The Hesed Qualified Sponsorship Program (QSP) invites mission-aligned businesses and partners to support the founding mission of Hesed University. Rooted in Christ-centered education in design, architecture, and theology, this program provides an opportunity to build a lasting foundation—spiritually and institutionally.

Sponsors will contribute to a historic, inaugural effort to establish the university’s operational infrastructure, academic programs, and faculty development, while receiving appropriate recognition under IRS Qualified Sponsorship Payment guidelines.

Who Can Participate

We welcome sponsors who share our mission and values, including:
  • Christian-owned businesses and nonprofits
  • Faith-based mission organizations
  • Community and corporate partners supportive of Christian higher education
  • Architecture, design, and allied firms

What Sponsors Receive

Qualified sponsors will receive public acknowledgment only, in accordance with IRS Publication 598 and IRC §513(i). Benefits may include:
  • Logo and name on Hesed’s website
  • Listing in prayer newsletters, event programs, and the annual report
  • Verbal thanks at university events
  • Optional: invitation to campus tours or non-commercial events
No advertising, pricing, or product promotion will be offered. All recognition is factual, neutral, and non-endorsement based to preserve IRS compliance.

Legal & Tax Compliance

This program has been professionally reviewed and is fully aligned with IRS Qualified Sponsorship Payment rules:
No unrelated business income (UBIT)
No substantial return benefit provided
Contributions may be deductible as business marketing expenses under IRC §162
Each sponsor receives a formal Acknowledgment Letter for recordkeeping and tax purposes.

How to Apply

To begin your sponsorship:
Email us at sponsorship@hesed.education We will follow up with a formal sponsorship agreement and onboarding instructions. Your sponsorship will be activated upon:
  • A signed agreement
  • Receipt of your first contribution
We warmly welcome your partnership as we build the foundation of Hesed University together.

Brand Integrity & Usage Policy

All sponsors are required to agree to and follow the Hesed University Marketing & Branding Policy, which ensures:
  • Proper and respectful use of Hesed’s name and logo
  • No use of branding for commercial advertising, product promotion, or endorsements
  • Consistent visual presentation that reflects the university’s Christ-centered mission

Sponsors may use phrases like “Proud Sponsor of Hesed University”, but may not use terms such as “official partner” or “endorsed by”.
All public uses of Hesed’s name or logo must be pre-approved by our Office of Corporate Engagement.
